Entries are now open for the 2014 Aurealis Awards.
The Aurealis Awards organising committee is sorry that the awards are opening for entries later than normal this year. Unfortunately, there were issues with the hosting service of the previous website and after many efforts to rectify things, we’ve had to abandon that website and the database and come over here and use a new nomination process.
We’d like to thank everyone for their patience, and hope to see the entries flooding in!
Please note the following changes:
- Individual issues of magazines are now eligible for entry in the anthology category
- A $10 entry fee now applies to every entry in the following categories: fantasy novel, science fiction novel, horror novel, young adult novel, anthology, collection, illustrated book/graphic novel
- The Peter Macnamara Convenors’ Award for Excellence has been renamed the Convenors’ Award for Excellence and the definition of the award refined
For more information about these changes, and to renew your knowledge of the awards in general, please read the rules page before entry.
We are excited about finally starting the process for this year’s awards. The ceremony, the 20th, will take place April 11, 2015 at University House, Canberra.
